Large amounts of unlicensed medicines have been seized by Department of Health officials during a search of a house in Glengormley.
A man was talked to by department officers about illegally importing and consequently supplying unlicensed impotence medications by means of the web.
The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medicine offences.
He will now be the subject of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department’s Medicines Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, stated: “It is essential that we get the message across that unlicensed medications can be hazardous.
“These types of products being sold, normally online, have actually undergone no quality assurance and there can be no assurance about their safety.
“You just do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More notably, you do not understand the result drugs like this may have on your health.”
